ANSYS Motion 2022 R1

Description

ANSYS Motion 2022 R1

Ansys Motion Software suite of tools for modeling the dynamics of systems of bodies and mechanisms Ansys Motion is designed to solve problems with rigid (non-deformable) and elastic (deformable) bodies in one system, taking into account hinge and contact interactions, calculating natural frequencies and mode shapes, and automatic meshless simulation.

Ansys Motion consists of a basic module that is designed to model systems with rigid and elastic bodies, calculate natural frequencies and vibration modes, thermal states, fatigue life analysis, as well as a set of additional tools that allow you to expand the functionality of specialized tasks.

Ansys Motion Car Toolkit
Automotive systems with many details and interactions can be easily calculated using the Car Toolkit. This set of tools allows you to model various templates and subsystems for motion analysis and vehicle control, such as braking, suspension, and steering. The Car Toolkit also contains libraries of elements for modeling tires.

Areas of use
Characterization of vehicle suspension and steering system Determination of vehicle
ride and handling characteristics and steering feedback
Overall vehicle analysis or subsystem analysis.

Ansys Motion Drivetrain Toolkit
The Drivetrain Toolkit is a set of tools for modeling power transmissions, including gears, screws, bearings, shafts, and housings. In particular, the calculation of forces arising in gears during speed/load fluctuations makes it possible to evaluate vibration characteristics that are as close as possible to real driving conditions.

In the Drivetrain Toolkit, you can build the gearing by filling in the appropriate gear design specifications and analyze the gearing errors for each gear (backlash).

Drivetrain Toolkit provides access to bearing catalogs from leading manufacturers, allows you to create gear geometry from parametric sketches.

Areas of use
Noise and vibration
analysis of electric vehicle gearboxes Noise and vibration analysis of transmission systems, including epicyclic
systems Vibration and noise
analysis of steering systems Analysis of the effect of gear errors in the gearbox design.

Ansys Motion Links Toolkit
Many mechanical systems have flexible power transmission elements such as chains, tracks, and belts. Connections between individual links and contact interaction between links and chain gear, pulleys and rollers require the calculation of many elements and the determination of the contact interaction between them.

Chain/Track is a set of tools for fast automated tasking and subsequent post-processing.

Areas of use
Caterpillar systems in any tracked vehicles such as excavators and armored vehicles
Chain drives in various machines
All types of pulleys, belt drives
Timing belts in internal combustion engines.

Ansys Motion EasyFlex
EasyFlex is a dynamic analysis package for automatic construction of a numerical model without generating a computational grid.

In this software module, you can calculate the stress-strain state of elastic bodies without having special knowledge about the principles and methods of generating the computational grid. Thus, the user has more time to solve current engineering problems.

Application area
Automatic modeling of elastic elements in body systems, skipping the mesh generation step.
